RE: RCO Icon Editor v1.04
Hmm, seems the hosting service is down (damn them).
I'm using a mirror now - try FileFront
Anyways, updated to v1.05, fixes another bug, also adds the extract all option. Also, will make a .bak file before replacing anything :)

Sure you're using a decrypted (2.50) RCO?

ZiNgA BuRgA Wrote:Not sure actually. I assume that the 3.03 topmenu being used has icons inserted, but I'm not sure how it was done
zmathue changed pointers around so that he could insert some of the newer icons.
Luckily, your RCO editor 1.05 seems to be able to edit the topmenu correctly and with no errors.
So far I've changed the Memory Stick Icon with no problem.
However, all the sizes aren't like the ones in the 2.50 topmenu.
Their size is limited to 64x64 total and 61x61 viewable. (probably because I used the old bmp2mig converter.)
One question: Does your RCO editor change the pointers for the icons to account for larger sized DAT files?

Yup! If you try, you can use larger icons than the ~2KB limit.
Oh, and thanks for the info :P

RE: RCO Icon Editor v1.05
Pretty neat work, love it, thanks, mate.. But oops.. On my Win XP SP2, it does not launch at all. Double-clicking on it only makes the mouse cursor change into hourglass for a split second, then.. Nothing.. I suspect it probably has something to do with the registry related to MSVB6 something dll (it is there in the Windows/system directory), though..
Trying it out on another Win XP test machine I got here, it works though.. Kinda weird..
Hope to see this gets updated real soon. Thanks, mate..!!

Yeah odd. I actually just tested this on an almost clean Windows XP SP2 and it runs fine.
I'm running XP SP1 ATM, and it works fine too. Dunno why so many people are having problems running it :/

Hmm, wait a sec, it better not be a problem with the icon...
I've just uploaded v1.05b in which I've removed the 32bit icons - dunno, but that's actually the only thing I haven't yet looked into. Try running the v1.05b EXE and tell me if it works :S

RE: RCO Icon Editor v1.05b
I'm on Windows XP SP2 and 1.05 worked already for me.
Hopefully the B version will help other people.
