Extra RAM will make a difference, though not in XP. Talk Vista, talk RAM. OS will make a difference till a certain extent.
I mean in terms of PCMark scores, not in terms of actual functionality.
You have 2.5GB of RAM, I have 4GB. I seriously doubt PCMark will actually use up to 2.5GB, so my extra 1.5GB will just be sitting there unused.

RE: EP Computer Benchmarking Powerboard
Wait, the numbers suggest that PCMark is trying to measure the RAM or something, rather than take the value given by the BIOS. Could be a 32-bit/PAE issue perhaps...
Didn't think of that earlier...

so do I. PC marks checks all aspect of RAM. Including its latency, relative write/read speed etc etc. Bad OS = wasted RAm = bad functionality.

2480 PCMarks
Maybe mine is the lowest score :-)

It'd be awesome if they release that game, Proxycon..
Comparing my score and this shows how much having no GPU is bringing down my scores...
CPU has similar clock speed to yours, twice as many cores. (And the Phenom should be at least equal to the Athlon, if not superior, on a clock to clock basis).
you have about 512MB extra RAM, two times as many Processors, which are based on the 65nm process(?) and a ultra OS... I'd say that score is a little less than what I would expect. For IGP i mean. A good GPU should give you something about 7000-8000.
lol... guilty !
Here's with the advanced edition. Superior CPU score, inferior GPU score.
Comparing that, you can clearly see the effects of having a bad GPU on my score. Need to buy myself a GPU.
EDIT: @Feinicks: Oh, and 4 cores doesn't = 4 times faster than 1 core, because not everything can take advantage of the 4 cores perfectly, so you can't just directly multiple your score by 2 and expect me to match it.

first Pcmark fails 1 test, giving me a 0 score,. :(
3d mark got to run twice because the IE got some weird scroll glitch wich made it imposible for me to make a screenshot,. lol
Also 3dmark tells me i have 3328mb ram,. but i got 4gig,. >!?
i prob try and uninstall IE8 and run Pcmark again,.
