dazjp71 Wrote:Hi all, I am new to the psp mod scene and Im kinda stuck with my custom gameboot, it is the start of MGS portable ops with a custom sound, it works fine but it crashes my psp after playing a game for a while. I know it is either the gameboot.pmf or the opening_plugin.rco because other gameboots work, I was previously using buckeyes937 playstation I gameboot without problems, please help it is extremely frustrating. lol

i don't know that much about it really but don't see why the gb would be causing your game to crash.if the game starts well the gameboot is done its thing.did i read corectly ?

I don't think it is the gameboot I think the openin_plugin is causing a problem, I have used other peoples gb's and plugins and they work fine, as soon as I replace them the psp starts crashing a few minutes into playing a game. lol

RE: gameboot crash
yeah like highboy said the gameboot is not the problem. I looked at your openingplugin.rco and a few of the delays that don't need to be changed was changed. Not sure if that was the problem but try this and see if the fixes your problem I gave you a different openingplugin.rco with the right delays edited. let me know if this fixed your problem. If not the gameboot and openingplugin.rco is not the problem.

RE: gameboot crash
Ok seems like it might work now thanks for the help :)
and the reason i thought it might be the opening_plugin or gameboot was because it was the only change i made.

RE: gameboot crash
lol I actually think my usb charger was the problem, I noticed the light flickering between green and orange then the psp crashed, so i did some troubleshooting, running around on ffviicc, with and without the charger with the charger it crashed, without it is still going, again thanks for the assistance. :)
