GuitarStar 1.0 - Guitar Hero clone homebrew for PSP
as an avid guitar hero fan and player, here's a nice homebrew for you all, this news has been in a week over the net though

Wee haven’t had a Guitar Hero homebrew clone of late. There was that Guitarra Gero back in September, but now here’s something new. GuitarStar v1.00 comes from French coder festi.

Since this is the first release, there’s no changelog. That’s all well and good, because even though it’s still in its early stage, it already has one big feature: song compatibility with Frets on Fire! Yes, you can add your own Frets on Fire music

This looks absolutely awesome !!

As a big Guitar Hero fan, I will definitely be trying this   :D


EDIT:   Tried it.  Not bad.  Could use a little polishing, and English menus would be nice.
Also, i downloaded the Metallica song Pack from fretsonfire.net, but they don't seem to work.

Looks like I'll be sticking with Guitarway To Heaven 4, for my homebrew guitar Hero needs for now...

maybe the song is set in different difficulty, i also downloaded a fret on fire game (don't know the song but its pure guitar riffs) and some difficulty levels don't have some notes, only on higher diffuculty

and yes hope some would mod this app, and its less buggy than the late Gunnar Hero (the old guitar hero clone homebrew for psp), hope its next release is in english
