I really like the city. Is that a plane?
Though the light painting may be a little overused, I suggest using it in a way like this guy

Use the light painting in a different way to not yield the same results all the time.

I'm gonna be doing some bigger and better things don't you worry :P this was for my portfolio to show that I know how to use a camera and crate some effects.

The green line in the pic is the meridian line from Greenwich Maritime - GMT, and it shows the curvature of the earth http://wwp.greenwichmeridian.com/
