Shrink a windows 7 install?
So i basically got a dell inspirion mini 9 (which makes it a netbook by the way....)

the only problem about this thing is that it has only 8 GB on space on its SSD, being the crazy guy i am i wanted to try running windows 7 on it to see how well it performs.

Theres just one problem, i need to know how to install windows7 on a usb stick and shrink it so it can fit on such a small HD

pretty straight forward, does anyone know how to do that????

P.S. Im running ubuntu on it right now and it works like a dream, hell i might even get it on my desktop too! :P

MY SIG IS FUCKING DEAD

RE: Shrink a windows 7 install?
won't work you can't get windows to boot from a usb you install it too

though you can get XP to install to USB and boot
i did it and it involves getttings a windows iso and extracting some of the driver files and editing them and some other stuff on the disc

took a long time but worked had my 16gb flashpen formatted as NTSC

also had it dual booting debian and XP :D

also you could try making a V-liting windows 7
