so it began on Wednesday. I spent the morning being very bored in school with a headache. The afternoon however i was shipped off to a neighboring school to do the work of their IT admin. The school had just bought 2 new computers for music technology work and they needed setting up. Problem was they came with Vista meaning they needed a whole different set of drivers for all the extra hardware that music technology demands. Anyway, I went home that day with an even worse headache and the worry of my Christmas Ball. (Prom to all you Yanks across the pond)

Ball was a right old laugh. Wee all got adequately pissed and humiliated. It was far more civilised than I expected being held at the Swansea Marriott hotel. Of course, a whole night of JD & Cokes did my headache no favors. Needless to say I was pretty much non-functional the next morning.

I went to school anyway to see how other people had fared. By 11AM i was pretty much recovered. But towards the end of the day I started feeling headachey and groggy again i thought it was just the hangover coming back to haunt but on the way home it really hit hard. I was feeling pretty chocolatety. Tired, headache from hell, and a nose that ran like the Colorado river. I went to bed as soon as I got home and slept all the way through to Friday morning. My dad was still convinced this was a hangover until I sneezed. It looked like one of those movie scenes where the baby alien hatches from the mucus filled egg.

I got the day off school (woot!) and spent it watching chocolatety daytime TV and sleeping. Saturday i ventured out the house because i still needed to buy my parents and my brother Christmas presents. I dashed to one shop and sat in the car for 3 hours freezing my donkey off while my dad turned into a woman and went around every single shop in sight.

Today I'm pretty much over it and back online! D'ya miss me?
