RE: Should we post PSP Theme Releases on the front page ?
Now that that's said,. i agree,.. but still there is alot of theme's for 5.00m33-4 in download section,. and 5.00m33 is still the latest cf,.

I think its save to say that less theme's are coming out these last 2 month's but most certainly not the past year,. ;p anyway,. maybe now its good idee to post theme's on frontpage,. !>?!

I don't really mind, I don't visit the homescreen quite that often as is, but what can it hurt?

The site is whatever! It's news, it's sPa/\/\, it's boredom, it's entertaining, it's useful, it's EP!

EP has NEVER tried to compete with any other PSP site, Wee are the OG's in PSP theme sites.  That's all that matters.  No need to try and compete with site trying to see who can be the 1337l33tp5phax0R743m3s1t3.

Now time for the bigger question at hand!  How many of you actually read/look at the portal?  I don't think it would matter if themes are on the portal or not, they would be any better or do any worse.

You got some good points, but i also think you missed my point  :/

I didn't pose the question with the intentions of competing with PSP sites, or even trying to gear EP more towards a PSP themed web site.

My thoughts where:

- Even though EP isn't a PSP based site, it is without a doubt, the most comprehensive site for PSP theme connoisseurs as far as resources and the expert residents here.

- Themes take an incredible amount of time/effort to create, so i thought it would be nice for their hard work to be flaunted right along with the daily news...

- You would not believe the incentive and motivation it gives noobie theme makers

Again, I wasn't really thinking of gearing the site more towards PSP, I figure when themes stop being made, they will stop being posted, and that will be that.

Anyways, it's not a big deal.  I just thought I would make the suggestion.

Well, the vote has been overwhelmingly yes, but going along with what Veg said, the number of new themes have been declining, they're more updates of prior themes.  Ehh, whaddeva.  I'm still hooked on my psp.

RE: Should we post PSP Theme Releases on the front page ?
Hmm, I thought they did show up on the home page - maybe I forgot to set it.
I'm fine with it either way - whatever the case, it isn't really a big deal - there aren't that many themes and people don't often view that page anyway.  Because of this, I'll side with the majority and add it in :P

PS: sorry for replying late - I must have missed this thread earlier on.

EDIT: is it showing now?  Isn't here for me, though I'm at work.  Otherwise, will have to see what's wrong at home...

Yeah, its working fine now.

Can i just add that if they're going to be added to the portal it might be worth  setting a standard layout to keep the page looking tidy

A bit difficult since it'll be mixed in with other posts, and it's going to be hard to make everything fit to a similar format...
Do you have any suggestions on how to do this though?

I was just thinking following a set layout for future releases more than anything, it just looks a bit untidy since everyone posts them using different formatting atm
