RE: [PSP] Simple Popstation GUI v3.00 beta
Now I'm having more problems!
The only thing I got from using the popstation was EBOOT.PBP.
I didn't get KEYS.BIN and everytime I try to play the game it says copywrite info isn't right.

I believe you only need the KEYS.BIN file for older firmwares (3.40 and earlier), so that's probably not the problem...

RE: [PSP] Simple Popstation GUI v3.00 beta
I'm still having problems.
Whenever I try to play the game in my PSP it says the copyright information is invalid.
Am I doing something wrong when I use the popstation, or when I extract the disk?
This is very frustrating, can someone please help?

Sorry to repost, but just for the record im trying to download ff7 onto my psp.
Don't know if this has anything to do with my problems, but thought maybe someone might know if it is.

RE: [PSP] Simple Popstation GUI v3.00 beta
to do this, you need a custom firmware on your PSP
If you try and do it on official firmware, you will get a copyright error, as the PSX emulator files havent had the nescessary checks removed / modifications made

RE: [PSP] Simple Popstation GUI v3.00 beta
Thanks for the info, but I do have a question.
What exactly is a custom firmware, and how do I get one?

Results from ℋiЬЬyℬot™ - "better than Google"Custom firmware is a replacement for the firmware you already have,
Latest custom firmware version is currently 5.00m33-4
Possible methods of installing custom firmware depends on your PSP type (fat/slim) and the current official firmware version,
All apart from the newest PSP's can have custom firmware installed by using a pandora battery and a magic memory stick setup,

RE: [PSP] Simple Popstation GUI v3.00 beta
Results from ℋiЬЬyℬot™ - "better than Google"A pandora battery is just a normal battery with the serial number (stored on chip) changed to 0xffffffff,
There are few ways to make a pandora battery,
1, One way is to use a PSP already on custom firmware to change the serial number of the battery using an app for the PSP but this only works on a PSP already running custom firmware,
2, Another way is to open up your battery and lift one of the legs/pins on one of the chips this make it seem like the serial is 0xffffffff and does the same job (google for an image of the pin to lift),
3, Buy a ready made pandora battery (This way sucks because pandora is meant to be free),
Then a memory stick needs to be setup with the correct files,
When this memory stick setup is used with the pandora battery a PSP running official firmware can be made to have custom firmware installed,
