Well technically my Windows isn't Anime themed, just my desktop is decorated with lots of third party addons in Anime style. I use WindowBlinds for general theming and the skins I use there are very normal non Anime Skins since there simply aren't any out there.

However it is possible to make Anime Skins and Icons, you may think there's not much space in Windows to make it really appear Anime themed, that's not entirely true.

The Start Menu has enough space to put in an Anime Render for example, if you extend the border padding of the windows you have enough space to put some cherry blossom leafs there, same goes for the Taskbar. There's also the Folderbackground and in Vista the Infopanel that have more then enough space for Anime Theming, together with Anime Icons you would have a totally animized Windows.

There is only one problem you would have to fiddle around with, text readability.

If anyone wants to try it Stardock has a free version of Skinstudio with 95% of the features to make WindowBlinds Themes, I tried it myself years back and it isn't really hard but I gave up because you have to have a crapload of patience to edit all the hundreds of .PNGs of Vista along with dozens of System Icons in 256x256... so well with a good team it's certainly possible but if you are alone you would need to be mega bored^^

do i sense a partnership chance there?

why not feinicks^^ if wee can gather some more people I can see it coming, only problem, how do wee work together on a single theme file? I guess wee need to assign some people to certain OS parts and then after everything is finished someone would need all the .pngs to "compile" the theme.

lol.. I have the full version as well... the pro version in fact. Obtain it from a Treasure Chest somewhere..

Well the one in the Treasure Chest is SkinStudio 5 and outdated, both in terms of features and usability (6 is waaay easier to handle) so I advice everyone getting the free version of SkinStudio 6. The only two missing features from the pro version are Startmenu Animations and Substyles, nothing useful^^
