Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

ive had a psp for a while now and im now on 5.00m33 from 3.71m33-1. i want to fully customize my psp with game and cold boots to start with and as i go on id like to do more but for now i want to start with a coldboot. can anyone tell me what ill need to get started?

great thanks for the links ill be busy for sometime now, one more thing is there a way to decompress or open up a ctf theme to get to the files?

ok here is where i make it known that im a super uber noob, i looked at the links but i have no idea what to use to basically open up a ctf and salvage through it...im a noob

CTF Manager. It lets you extract the flash0 and ptf files that the ctf is comprised of. The latest one works with 5.00 themes. Alternatively, you can just use the CTF/UnCTF tool, which is a cmd based tool. CTF Manager is a GUI that utilizes the CTF/UnCTF tool.

Threaded Mode \| Linear Mode on the road to customizing 5.00, can anyone help custom coldboot & gameboot...for now
