Nice bro... I only have the classic Phat from a decade ago,.. ;) & a white Slim, with a clear case to convert it into.. :D both with extended batt's

i got a couple of PSP's too,. but i won't buy the PSP-3000,. untill i am sure there is no lack in palying video's and ingame movies,. i read the screen is shocky then,. :(<>?!?

Are there any new function's in the XMB concerning the inbuild mic,.!? or can it only be used with Skype,.!?

as i observed the screen is superb the resolution is really good and brite, i try to play umd videos and umd games and it's all fine to me, i am really looking on that issue but i haven't seen one it's the same as my fat and slim as i compare. i will try to borrow a need for speed umd game and i will give feedback if i will see that "ghosting issue" on fast moving graphics.

the "scan lines" on the screen i think it's just fine because it gives the sharper display i think so.

about the mic it has no other use just for skype. i thought it has a voice recorder that's why it has a mic but as i check nothing.

yes same here, i still own a phat psp with my x button have been mashed due to tekken, hehehe, if they got to hack the psp3000, then that's the time ill be buying it

I would still like to see the screen in person my self...Sure a photo/video is going ot pick up WAY more problems than the human eye can see..maybe it was a fluke that someone was taking a photo of the screen to show off the color difference and that is how they stumbled on the interlacing....i don't know cause i havent seen it in person..

i too have a fat black that took buying and returning 3 psp *all were 1.51* until i got to lucky number 4 which had 1.50 firmware on it waaaay back then :D

Then last year a week before official release date, a friend of a friend that works at gamestop called me up and said the slim are in and i should come buy one :D That is definitely my favorite, but i was glad to have my fat still cause i used a real old IR test program that controls robosapiens and used it on my new femisapien that a guy at work gave me for fixing his and his sons laptops :)

If the 3000 is available in blue in less than a year, THAT will be my next psp...or the psp2...but first i need me a ps3 :P
