I want to apologize to everyone for starting such a humongous argument in the "Obama Wins!!!" thread.

First off, my entire basis for my argument turned out to be a falsehood. See, my parents apparently never looked at what Obama's tax plans specifically are, and just assumed how they would be taxed mroe, and so would their businesses. I never knew how much my family grossed in actual numbers, and, hell, I trust my mom, so I believed them. After the...panic that wee had with the prospect that wee might have to sell our home, I did a bit of digging myself, and found out EXACTLY how much my family makes.

Basically, wee aren't gonna be taxed more. In fact, wee'll get a majority of his tax breaks. Wee won't have to pay Social Security tax, as wee fall between 102k and 250k. Hell, even the dreaded higher "Estate tax" that my dad has been lording over me and my brother as some sort of "Rape Tax" that will supposedly rob me and my brother of our inheritance, is only being raised on estates of $3.5 million or more. I'm not even sure if our "estate", house, cars, and life insurance included, even scratches a million.

Hell, even my parents' businesses would be MORE prosperous, with Obama's plan to give tax credits on Health Insurance for employees.

So basically, I made myself out to be a whiny, worrying, ignorant dick, and I'm sorry. Next time, I'll do a bit more research before I freak the fuck out.

And then there are the people who probably won't be adversely affected, but yet they will remain confused and continue a negative response to anything Obama related because they are stubborn and won't look/read/listen past what they have set in their head.
