PSPGEN Wrote:Dark_Alex just upload a new version of PsarDumper to extract the files making up the firmware 5.00. Click below for more information.
Dark_Alex has just put online a new version of the utility that can decrypt the firmware 5.00. This time, however, there is a flat and it is huge. If it is possible to decrypt files on the PSP 1000 and PSP 2000 (01gx and 02gx), the files involving PSP 3000 (03gx) are not decrypting. Note that even their names remain encrypted.
However, this utility is not helpful to "sir everybody", but it will enable all programmers to go take a look at all the attention files (except those of the PSP 3000) of the firmware of the PSP and out of good things.
So the question on the arrival of a possible 5.00 M33 naturally arises and if the answer seems obvious as it may be possible to Dark_Alex manufacture, at least for the PSP 2000, a version of 5.00. However, decrypt files is a first step but there are still a lot of nests and solving many other problems more or less difficult to adjust to get there. As he want? The question remains.
Well i just dumped 5.00 using SQUARE and of course all the offsets are new from 4.01 AND 4.05 so time to get crackin on that and make a nice 4.01-5.00 prx converter :)
See you later

i can decompress for you. :)
new wave,...!?
i got it working now :)
Yes in settings - theme - theme - there is original or classic, choose original and you have a new wave.
I found in system_plugin_bg.rco there is a new pagedata entry called
page_default_theme2_3d...that HAS to be how the new wave is pulled in...unfortunately even changing the pagedata entry of
default_theme_model [0x80E]
from
[event]native:page_default_theme_3d_onInit
to
[event]native:page_default_theme2_3d_onInit
I still get the same wave as always :( GRRRRRRRRR
well i flashed sysconf_plugin.rco system_plugin_bg.rco (original and the one i modifed as above) and custom_theme.dat and still don't get the waves :(
but
attached are decompressed rco :)
