Imagine the options a PS3 would have if it was hacked like the PSP<.

Playing back-ups is't that bad,. hehe,. well if you mean pirated games,. copies,downloads etc,. then i think people will be more tempted to buy a PS3 anyway,. most PS3 games are to good,. playtime is longer and trying to download a PS3 game could be to much effort,..

anyway i was not refering to this prob,. i was imagening the posibility's of custom theme's and homebrew,.

Like the PSP,.. then there were custom theme's,. and 1 year later sony ads ptf suport,.. many great hacked feature's wich you don't have when using original sony firmware,. ;p i don't have a PS3,. i am guessing the PS3 would be much more awesome with the missing feature's homebrewers could make,.

Only problem is the size of the games and somewhere to be able to store them,

A hacked PS3 would open up a new window for people like yourself that spend hours a day making themes etc,

I would be interested in developing homebrew on the PS3 and I now loads of other people would also love it but that was why the alternative OS option is available,

I think it has both advantages and disadvantages and it will get hacked in the end it's just a matter of time,

its not like,.. back-ups playable,. now the rest,.!?

is it imposible to have homebrew/cf/CTF theme's without playing back-ups,.!?

yeah i sure hope cf will be reality eventualy,.

It would be nice it $ony made a theme maker for PS3 that can create fully customised themes like CTF themes on PSP,

The theme maker wee have now is way too limited but they can't really give more features to the theme maker without allowing us access,

I guess they could allow something like HDD redirect with would read the files from the HDD if available but I can't see that happening,

people with a PSP and official sony firmware are alreay missing out on alot of nice feature's compared with CF,. ;p
Like i said i don't have a PS3 but i can imagine there would be countless more feature's when the PS3 was hacked,.
