Its a nice combo of simple coloring and effects,
I think you should start to do manipulation of the render it self,
Make it suit its environment,

+ one thing is the light globe thingy's, they don't match the natural light on the render it self,

Close,
But still =D needs some work,

Make the render and BG blend.,

The background is beautiful, but if you just worked a bit more on the render and made it blend, then you would have a masterpiece.
