Warm-up those PLAYSTATION 3's cause the much anticipated firmware update is now out. The update is now officially released and now wee can try out all of those awesome greatly requested features like the new trophy system, in-game XMB, and more is waiting for you in the new firmware.

WOW!

In game XMB is useless. They might as well have just given us access only to the friends category for christ sakes!!!!!

How about being able to look at a picture while the game is in the back? doesn't seem hard..... How about being able to have custom soundtracks? fudge sakes.

Maybe i want to hop on the browser to look up for a walkthrough..... no dice with this update..

I'm a little disapointed too. I was expecting in game tracks too but I've tried it with mgs4, unreal, everybodys golf and downloaded games like pixel junk monsters, tekken and loco roco. doesn't work with any of them. Only usefull thing so far is messeges in game. What happened to in game tracks Emptyone

It was working with pixel junk in the preview movie!!!!!

Edit: I did some research and it seems only bowling supports custom tunes!! Damn that sucks. I can't see it being implemented into mgs4 as it has the ipod feature. I want it in tekken and pixel junk mostly! Just got to hope there will be some patches for these games available soon.
