so anyways I'm at work right now but real quick update about me and my beloved mgs4, i have now mgs4 limited edition, and mgs4 limited edition stategy guide, (which came yesterday and i beat the game on sunday so no guide yaya) and mgs4 ps3 80gb bundle <with dual shock 3 =D
i beat it this sunday on solid normal difficutly
it took me 24 hours, i got the tarantula ranking
it was epic
i cried at the end
I'm so happy

i beat the game Saturday morning =D

the ending is epic.... I'm not saying anything in case metalgear08 reads this....

i think i did it about 13 hours in the end and i can't remember my ranking but it wasn't too bad....

i need to play metal gears 1 2 and 3 before i start this one.........

is that watching the cut-scenes too? cut-scenes make up like 8 hours of the whole game, making my game time technically 16 hours, its uber epic, post spoilers for MG08!

I watched some videos on Youtube, because I figure if I'm not getting the game until August or later, I might as well answer my questions. Holy mother of god, the ending was amazing.

I do have a few questions, though, mainly from gaps in the videos and people's explanations:

I beet it 3 times now

The first time taking my time to see all the cut screens , & killing everyone in the game

the next time i went through & skipped past all the cut screens , & tried not to kill anyone, but I killed 8 people LOL

this last time I did the same but I only killed 2 people =P

I guess I have to do it one more time Before I can play on a killing spree a gin LOL

on order to get the big boss emblem at the end you have to play under 5 hours in the boss extreme or big boss hard, with no kills, and no times caught, i won't be able to do that for at least another 7-10 playthroughs of the game, its hard getting used to the new controls for me still :P

What's up with Raiden? What happened that made him lose his entire body? And does he get it back at the end? Or is that just a fake body made to look real?

Why does Johnny look like a wimpier MGS2 Snake? lol

So were Big Boss, Eva, and Ocelot originally members of the Patriots that broke away?

What happens to Raiden at the end of Shadow Moses? I saw a cutscene where a wounded Snake is looking for him frantically on this segment of broken ground, then sees his sword in the ground. What happened leading up to that?

Does it get any more awesome than two old men with handlebar mustaches fistfighting to the death? Honestly.

yeah no kills, no alerts, no life recovery items, no stealth suit, no bandanna,

= Not easy at all =P

i just unlocked the Big Boss face camo earlier today....it's not what i expected at all.
by the way, guys check out the MGS4 secrets thread i started. there's tons of cool easter eggs throughout this game and I'll
be posting all the ones i find there..
