Skins2 comes with VLC...
And I figured it out!
Preferences >> Main Interfaces >> Interface Module [Skinnable Interface]
They could have made it simpler...

RE: VLC Skin Config??
well a lot of the good stuff doesn't have a user friendly interface (or utility).. Linux for instance!
But I dunno.. I never bother changing skins of any mplayer.. always just stick to the default! :P

RE: VLC Skin Config??
I really love the Linux command line - it's seriously awesome. I don't particularly like the GUIs in Linux distros yet though.

but they will never replace the true purpose of linux or the fact that it can be controlled far better using the terminal or the command line (whatever you call it, you choose!)

Why is it I can't touch type when people expect me to type something however?

Senseito Sakura Wrote:VLC Media Player is one of the best media players there is, along with CCCP & Media Player Classic you can play practically all good media formats.
I tried out the KMPlayer. I think Zinga suggested it somewhere a long time ago, as a substitute for MPC.
The KMPlayer does seems a lot more advanced than MPC. A lot more features.
EDIT: It can't seem to do the subtitles propperly either, like VLC. Direct show = can use directvobsub though.

I don't really like VLC much.
VLC has BIG problems with softsubs. It doesn't support fonts and certain typesetting features for donkey/ssa subtitle streams, making your subs look really fugly in some cases. And sometimes the subs don't fit propperly and overlap. And for srt subs (don't know if it's the case for others types as well) it cuts out the very 1st line of subtitles in the file (that was like 1+ years ago. Could be fixed now).
