RE: 3.95 gen
can you put quotations around your post.. its very misleading, as its obvious that you had little (read None) to do with this!

RE: 3.95 gen
This is great. Only some things still work..
Quote:At "face" value, you will have to re-create and convert themes again. (Every single time nids change, this is a must.. Or you get a brick) Hopefully, popsloader will fully work.. I will just have to test irShell out for myself, and somebody can take on CMXB... I'll report back soon. Trying this out on a slim. I don't think there's an included 1.50 kernel addon for Phats.. Go check it yourselfs.
EDIT: TimeMachine will prolly NOT work on a Slim... Updating is the same as before. Uses the Sony updater, but you can bypass battery and there's an ids key check.. It's recommended that you make a full nand backup before updating because I just see it easier to downgrade..
EDIT2: Popsloader works. (YOU MUST USE THE INCLUDED POPS) Just tried to load FF7.. Loaded it flawlessly big_smile
Recovery-vsh is bought up by SELECT. Standard recovery is there, as well as the few extra options. Those include the reboot/shutdown/sleep PSP functions.. In Configuration, you can change whether to use the vshMenu or recovery. Also, the Network Update server has options for GEN updates, M33 updates, and the Sony updates.. Also, you can hide your Mac Addy changing them to zeroes. Under Advanced, you can make a Pandora Battery, revert one, read your EEPROM (dump to MS), and toggle access to UMD. Your mobo is ident. upon access.
EDIT3: TimeMachine works on a Slim.. 1.50 and 3.60 M33 works fine... Which means you can boot with a PB inserted. As long as you have the ipl on your MS. (TimeMachine's or Booster's)
EDIT4: Me thinks there's no need for 3.71 fatmsmod.prx.. Either its patched or Sony finally fixed it.. Everything loads faster now... And I mean fast.. irShell doesn't work.. It freezes on boot. NervOS (2.0.5) boots though.... However, it doesn't launch ISOS/CSOs. UMDs don't launch.. (8002014E error) Homebrew works, but if you exit, you go back to the XMB. PSX loading causes a freeze.
EDIT5: Plugins.. *sigh*... Some work, some don't. Leave it at that...

RE: 3.95 gen
Looking at the vshmain 3.90 vs 3.95 real quick..wee may be able to copy/paste large chunks of 3.90 data over the 3.95 range in order to quick n dirty convert a theme...im hoping that sorny just moved chunks around to make us but only more time will tell.
im finding long ranges of data that are the same, but in very different starting offsets....hrmmmm.
