run-» regedit-» HKEY_CURRENT USER-» Software

also from HK-local-machine-» software-» adobe

if you're on 64 bit, you'll not find anything in LOCAL MACHINE-» Software... you edit in WOW64Node
delete entries from adobe

You can do it thru this guide: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/AddRemove.htm

something easier, however: http://www.majorgeeks.com/AddRemove_Prog...d5111.html

EDIT;:

careful feinicks, your walking in boiling water, if he happened to have license info for another product in there, or other important info, it could leave a mess. Don't use this method, it won't get it out of Add/Remove Programs.

i have a feeling CCleaner allows you to just remove entries, but i think it might be more than that...surely it would still reinstall otherwise...

you guys all got it wrong..adobe sucks sweet chocolate balls and have registry and system files EVERYWHERE...the only way to REALY uninstall it is to use cs3cleaner

http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs3clean.html

you will need to download something from microsoft as well..i forget the name but when you run this is will squack and tell you what to do.

yeah.. if he deleted all the entries... not if they were carefully selected.

But anyways.. only advanced users should use this method.. I mean like really advanced.
