I believe it's a little under 180 degrees in every direction, with a bit more on the sides. Dunno about aspect ratio though lol

RE: What Image ratio is human vision?
nobody knows because your eyes move you can expand this ratio as needed.
This is like that time I tried to look up how many frames per second an eye can see.

I guess someone could get a contactable box thing and measure how far they can expand it until they can't see it

Well, that's sorta what I'm saying. Your eyes, no matter where they point, have a little under 180 degrees of vision. You turn them to make up for it.

RE: What Image ratio is human vision?
Wikipedia Wrote:The size of the human pupil usually less than 7mm. The angular resolution is therefore at most 1/10000 for 530nm green light. This equals two dots or lines 1mm apart viewed from 10 meters distance. The actual resolution of the eye is somewhat worse or 3.5mm at 10 meters. A maximum resolution of the human eye in good light of 1.6 minute of arc per line pair will correspond to 1.25 lines per minute of arc. Assuming two pixels per line pair (one pixel per line) and a square field of 120 degrees, this would be equivalent to approximately 120×60×1.25 = 9000 pixels in each of the X and Y dimensions, or about 81 megapixels.

if you see the same amount in all directions then that would be 1:1 LOL
but
do squity eyed people see less vertical and more horizontal of a ratio?
do bug eyed people see more in all direction?

put your nose on the wall...have someone put their hand ot the left and right until you can't see it then put a mark, do the same up n down (if its a girl (or someone else if you like), have her (or him) check something else that maybe going up n down right about then) measure the points an divide.

RE: What Image ratio is human vision?
u can't really find a ratio cause ur eyes can open differently and the lens in the eye can also behave differently so it is highly variable
