Go to "about:config" >> Right click anywhere >> New > Boolean >> put in "extensions.checkCompatibility" >> Set as "false"

then most of your plugins should work

That's it basically.

Used NoScript for like 2 days, and it really pissed me off, so it's permanently on disabled mode.

Except that it screws up a lot of other stuff that I want, and I have to manually allow them one by one. Up to now, I've yet to be effed over by some random script yet. Way more effort than it's worth.

Yeah, same here.
What I'd really like is something which allows you to restrict Javascript more than Firefox allows.

For example, the ability to disable those popup messages after a while (Opera has it I believe, Firefox should as well).
