I'm sure more than a handful of that 'more than a handful' know which episode of family guy I'm referring to in the thread title.

So, I'ma pull a Peter Griffin, and let you know what REALLY grinds my gears...

BIG OIL! The fact that they are making record profits, $123 billion in 2007, and wee, joe everyman, are getting fudgeing screwed left and right.
The price of oil is driving EVERYTHING up! Any dramatic price increase for goods and or services can be blamed on big oil, because everyone seems to think that joe everyman should foot the bill.
the fact that when they were in talks with congress this past tuesday, they stated and I quote "Our profits are in line with other industries". What the FUCK is that garbage they are spewing all over us?
the fact that they got us by the short and curly's because there is no other readily available/cost efficient energy source.
the fact that joe everyman is pissed of about it but is doing fudge all to stop it.

And that ladies and gentleman, is what grinds my gears.

So America... and the world, what really grinds your gears???

oh.. one thing could be that I end up getting the last of whatever I am buying. as in the last batch before a major update comes along.... just like I bought my psp and then slim was announced!

I agree with you on the Big Oil, what needs to happen to shut big oil up, is all the truckers just need to ban together and stop running for 2 days, that whould shut down this entire country, and show big oil that if they don't stop wee will stop and the country stops.

Now I am not a trucker but I know a few, and they spend close to 600 bucks a day running.
