Toungue Backplate
Aha Does anyone know of any place that does custom plastic molding? Aha

What I want to do is have a piece of the psp backplate to match the battery cover, that I got with my new Extended life battery, since I have the slim psp. The battery is thick for the fat, well its a bit ackward to have one side thicker then the other, so I want to find a place to get the other side made to match in thickness to the battery cover.

RE: Backplate
it's  not quite as simple as that.  you'd have to get the original backplate, measure it accurately,  draw up a 3d design using a program  like autoCAD, modify the design and send it off to a company to make  the design for you. it would probably cost a lot too as the company would have to make custom moulds from scratch using your design.

to be honest i wouldn't bother.

RE: Backplate
I don't think he's talking about that shady. He wants one that is a smoth curve all the way up instead of that big buldge on one side of the battery cover.

I know plastic shops like that exist but I know not of where one is. Besides you would have to check locally or at least tell us where you live so wee have some idea where it should be at.

Like if you live in the U.K. Im not going to give you the name of a shop in the USA.

RE: Backplate
This is what I want the right side of the backplate to match the left side where the battery cover is, leaving the umd door alone. and I am in the US, Texas. if you buy this [Image: 79-261-118-01.jpg] and you have the slim psp the system bulges from that new cover, what I want is to get a cover made like that battery cover for the other side of the psp so it matches and sits evenly on the table when not in use.

Thank you all for the help and sorry for the confusion for not fully explaining my self properly.
