I'm bored, so I figured I'd write about the really odd 3-part dream I had last night. (Note to self: don't drink caffeine right before bed, then use liquor to put yourself to sleep when you're still wide awake from caffeine.)

Well, my dream started out with me having to go to some fat woman's wedding, who I didn't even know, and I was supremely bored. I fell asleep in the church pew. When I woke up, everyone was gone, so I freaked out a little, running outside. Then, I looked at my phone and realized it said "March 17, 2009." Again, I freaked out. I called all my friends, asking what year it was, and all of them said 2009, and also barraged me with questions about where I was for the past year. Then, I looked down at a newspaper by my feet, and realized that Ron Paul was president. My little brother half-woke me up here.

I went back to sleep, and I went back into the strange dream, albeit at a different "part." Now me and my friends were at some resort place in the mountains. Specifically, I was with my best friend, that girl I always talk about. Wee were all walking down a hallway, when my friend says "Go on ahead, wee'll catch up with you guys later" to all my other friends. She then proceeds to grab me by the collar of the very nice suit I was wearing, and throws me into one of the hotel rooms, onto the floor, then leaps on top of me and proceeds to very aggressively make out with me. Now, try to imagine how confused I am. Also, there was a nagging at the back of my head that she messed up my expensive shirt when she grabbed me, which was probably the wrong thing to be thinking given the current situation. Then, right as I begin realizing what's going on and liking it, a lot, my god damn 5 year old brother decides to start playing piano downstairs, which wakes me up, seeing as our piano is really loud and right below my room. I don't think I've ever hated my little brother more than I did right then.

I went back to sleep again, hoping I would go back into the dream where I was, or maybe 5 minutes later in the dream. But no, I went a bit further than that, when she and I were walking out of said hotel room, and my cellphone said it was about an hour and a half later. I apparently had missed the, ahem, good stuff. Again, I was cursing my little brother's name. Then, the floor opened up like the whole hotel cracked in half, I fell through, and landed on my bed at home. Then, I woke up to my 15yo brother yelling at me to wake up because it was Noon.

that's a heck of a dream you had there MG.... and yea the fact one gets awoken before 'particularly special' parts of dreams is very often.

Its happened with me a multitude of times, like when one has a very good dream, cool dream.

I know, it seems to happen one way or another. Either your body wakes you up, or your 5yo brother bangs on the keys of your grand piano, waking you up.

the most extreme example would be when you have such a deep dream its almost like living another life..... and then you wake up with a very heavy head.. you know what I mean., its amazing what what the mind can do...... its almost too good for ones self :P

funnily enough, its when I get a book to write my dreams down in that I either don't dream or don't dream much.... or really boring forgettable stuff

Yeah, dreams are a good source of funny stories. And I know what you mean, Sensei and MehHakker, with the "heavy-head" dreams and the realistic dreams. Also, I seem to have a lot of these sorts of dreams involving this friend lol. The other ones usually go a bit further than this one, and they're usually of the "realistic" variety, where you wake up thinking it really happened lol. I won't go into what they were about, however, as they're not, ahem, suitable for this forum
