damn processes
if any one could help me with this i would be VERY grateful the computers ready for the dump.
There is normally 2 sometimes 3 Iexplore.exe's on the processes but im using firefox ???
they 'borrow' all the memory, 100,000k plus Nana-o

well there are two different kinds of iexplore.exe...  one that's signed by microsoft and another that comes up as nothing or ??? or anything other then microsoft is probably spyware or a trojan of some kind....  run one of those online antivirus things if you don't have one and you should find out

edit-
also if you said you removed IE altogether then run a search on your pc for iexplore.exe and erase everyone that comes up.. the real one is kept in the program files so if it says iexplore is in the system32 folder then trash it

Shouldn't be any of them, if you're not using internet explorer.

Is this temporary? or does it happen all the time?


If it happens every time you start up your computer, without doing something, then it's most likely a virus or something.
