RE: MegaUpload Shut Down
Until MegaShares goes down I'm good for everything besides Anime.
But for direct download anime, it's back to the IRC days for me .

RE: MegaUpload Shut Down maybe not because of piracy...
Well there are rumors now that Megaupload was shut down because they wanted to offer a legal service which potentially could have destroyed the classic music industry: Megabox!
You can read about it here: https://plus.google.com/u/0/111314089359...QJxDRiwAWq
But basically it sounds like they wanted to create a music service that would give artists 90% of the money made and Megabox would have even paid artists that would like to distribute their songs to fans for free.
If that's the really the real reason behind Megauploads shutdown... what can I say, our world seems to be even more corrupted than I thought it would be.

RE: MegaUpload Shut Down
Depends on how long they stay up though.
Also, they're somewhat lesser known... RS, MF, DF and WU probably used the most. Hotfile... they seem to work, though IDK about uploads.

"Although FileSonic has disabled sharing and Uploaded.to has blocked access to the U.S., the CEO of Texas-based MediaFire
is not concerned about government action against his company. 'Wee don't have a business built on copyright infringement,'
says Derek Labian. 'Like many other cloud-based sharing services like Box.net and Dropbox, wee're a legitimate business
targeting professionals.'"

RE: MegaUpload Shut Down
Dunno, I don't use it. Just that files on Fileserve seem to be accessible now.
I've been trying to find something/someone which goes into it more, but search turns up nothing.
