EDIT: Added some more stuff.
Can't even remember the last time I posted in this thread (or the whole forum for that matter). I don't even use this internet handle on other forums any more.
Anyway I felt like posting some anime impressions like I used to. Length and detail will depend on how long ago I watched it, which can be quite a long time considering the last time I posted here.
Initial D 3rd Season
This is actually a movie and not a TV series, and I remember sort of liking it. Too long ago, can't go into details.
7/10
Initial D 4h Season
The best Initial D out of the ones I've watched. Reasoning is many fold. Firstly, both Takumi and opponents' are all on much higher skill levels, so races are naturally hotter and more badass. Secondly, races actually take place on away courses this time, so there's a lot more variety and not just abusing the gutter trick on the home course to cheese every race, which is what made the 2nd season so terrible.
8/10
Infinite Stratos 2
Ok this is clearly a harem anime at it's core, and fortunately it stays that way so whatever lol (harem animes that try to be something else usually end up really terribly). Oh yeah this series is still totally unfinished.
6/10
Valkyria Chronicles
I really liked this show like most of the way, but it couldn't follow through on the same level to the end. Was also a long time ago so I don't remember very well. But I do remember the antagonist turning out to be rather disappointing.
7/10
Gokukoku no Brynhildr
Wins the most rushed show ever award. The last 2 epsisodes should have been like 5 or more episodes instead. The last episode is so rushed it feels like random disjoint events being hastily pasted together. Talking about disappointing antagonists, the one here definitely fits the category. I mean when you see an antag doing grand and terrible things (well not "grand" in this case, I'm talking in general), and then his reasoning for doing everything turns out to be something totally petty and small, I just shake my head, that kind of thing is a big let down to me. When it wasn't rushed (the first half) it was decent.

Gungrave
Chronicles the life story of two street punks who climbed the ranks all the way to the very top of a huge mafia organization, and their eventual downfall and ruin. Two rather different individuals, one filled with boundless ambition who seeks power, change, and isn't afraid to force his way; the other quiet, extremely loyal, and very true to the established code honored by the old mafia boss and family. So their differences eventually bring them appart and stuff starts going to hell. Betrayal and redemption. One of the better animes I've watched lately.

Date a Live
I got interested in this because some guy on a mobile game I used to played, who I used to chat to a lot always used avatars from this show. Sort of a half harem half action show, it's not too bad.
6.5/10
Date a Live 2
More of the same thing.
6.5/10
Senki Zesshou Symphogear
Holy poo poo that was a giant mess at the end lol. Mess in this case meaning stuff like
Otherwise this contains some pretty hotblooded fight scenes and pretty decent music. Oh yeah this show also feels overly dramatic to me.
6/10
Senki Zesshou Symphogear G
Basically more of the same stuff. Less ridiculous stuff like that in the previous spoiler The fights are even more ridiculous, but that's a good thing. Basically turn your brain off and enjoy the action and songs.
7/10
Saki Nationals Chapter & Side Story
Saki is like a shounen show in disguise lol. Basically a bunch of girls with different special abilities and stuff fighting it out... on the mahjong table. And fanservice. And it's really slow, can take like up to 3 episodes to finish a single mahjong game (much like shounen shows and fights). Anyway I didn't like the side story that much.
Side story (forgot it's exact name) - 5/10
National chapter - 6/10
Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon
Most people probably quit on episode 1, in fact I did too. Then some guy recommended me and told me it's actually good. So I was like ok whatever I'll watch a few more eps and see for myself. Ok it turns out that this anime is nowhere near as stupid as the first episode would suggest, and is in fact quite intelligent.
7/10
Kara no Kyoukai - Mirai Fukuin
In classical Kara no Kyoukai style, somewhat thought provoking, with a good mix of badassery and flashy visual and sound effects. Reminded me that I quite liked the main Kara no Kyoukai series.
8/10
Macross Zero
My favourite Macross anime. Ah, the classic Macross formula which made the series so successful. Hot arial dogfights, love triangles and songs in an emotionally charged package. If anyone wants to get started with Macross, I'd recommend this one. Macross Frontier is good too but Zero is less of an investment to get into as Macross Frontier is a whole 26 epsides. Also has rather amazing visuals for an anime of it's age (2004, but the graphics is better than most new animes, very much worth downloading BD rips over DVD rips).
8.5/10
Macross Plus
Don't really remember much. I just remember some parts to be rather abstract, and not liking the color palette very much.
