but when you say "added what i wanted" is that still when you are on the RGB channels or once your on the Alpha channel because i thought that you can only write stuff on the alpha channel

I made everything in the RGB channels, here is what those channels look like in the image.



I made that in the RGB channels, then I loaded the selection of those layers and made an alpha channel, I then used fill on the alpha channel for the selected area.  Here is what my alpha channel would look like.



Then I switched back to the RGB channels, indexed the colours down to 256 and saved it.

Here is what it looks like when I boot.

well can you see if you can get "Welcome to the Darkness" onto one line with Exocet (dafont.com)

and what files should i backup/replace or is their an app for this?

back-up your whole flash0:/ just to be safe from any problems that may occur from this or any other flashing that you do. the file that I'll send you when its done is opening_plugin.rco which is in flash0:/vsh/resource
I'll have it done ASAP but I'm learning how to make it so that the text can be bigger, so once i do that, i can make better ones than just squeezing text into a small image :D
