RE: Some weird chocolate going on here...
That is creepy
Id definitely agree with setting up a camera if youve got a spare webcam lying about, maybe even do it at work if its a problem there, as loosing ones job is a serious risk, and this person, if they are someone, is only playing harmless pranks in your house for now....

There's CCTV and enough alarms to put off anyone in work. None of this security however covers the side of the building where the door is.

Changing the locks is difficult. Wee have PVC doors and the locks are moulded in. I think I'm definately going to set up a web cam. I have an old EyeToy somewhere that I could rig up to the server... Remote viewing and all that... Checked my browser history and there's nothing during the time I was in work. I have the only account on my laptop and it's passworded. I'm fairly certain that no one knows or could remember it as it's a completely made up word with numbers.

I like it!

How'd they get into the house? Don't lock your doors from the sounds of things?
It certain doesn't seem like they're trying to be too conspicuous if they're moving around so much stuff.
As for work, how did someone else get ahold of the keys? Were do you usually keep them?

I have no idea. I definately locked the front door and latched the back door (it still needs a key to open from the outside) as I left. All the windows are slosed in this weather! As for work the keys are kept in a plastic box under the shop counter. I do sometimes leave them in my hi-vis jacket pocket which is kept in the stock room. Maybe someone snuck in while I was over the other side of the shop or something like that.
I don't know why anyone would want to break into that side of the building anyway. Behind the door is an unsafe wooden staircase that leads above the shop. All that's up there is old junk from when the building was owned by Gulf and Esso as well as boxes and boxes of till receits. Probably the most valuable thing up there at the moment are a few sacks full of grit salt. Everyone wants it at the moment and only us and the local council have any!
