I hope it does =)

It already has.

check the NNL site.

And they're planning to release it as a whole stand-alone package that wouldn't even need you to have the original visual novel.

O___O

WIN

They dropped it.

Something about the translator unable to continue due to "personal reasons" (which is more likely something like "meh, it's too much effort")

...

I never really put much hope in it though, looking at their plan to get it done in a few months when Wind took them 5 years or something. Originally had about ~50% faith, and after I checked back 2 weeks later, and there was no update, that reduced to like 10%. Considering that they say they will give daily status updates, not doing so = something has gone wrong.

Just didn't seem that realistic to me. And things that don't seem realistic have a tendancy to fail...

Although Utawarerumono didn't take very long...

Well, atleast Clannad seems to be doing well. And I have much more faith in the completion of that project.

ef - a fairy tale of the two is split into 2 parts, ef - the first tale and ef - the latter tale. And each one of these covers 2 stories.

The First Tale covers the stories of 1) Miyako and Hiro, and 2) Kei and Kyosuke.

The Latter Tale covers the stories of 3) Chihiro and Renji, and 4) Mizuki and Shuichi.

...

Since the anime already covers 3 of the 4 stories, including 1 story from the latter tale, that means it has actually already covered the latter tale, and the last story was just cut out.

So I'd say the chance of another ef anime is pretty much non-existant. The most you'll ever hope to get is probably maybe some OVAs covering the last story.
