There's actually a few other differences. In the censored version, they removed a bit of the violence, and stuck in some extra flashback scenes supposedly too.

I was actually referring to the storyline. All the girls going after him, the whole chain of events that led to the end, and the end itself.

Not that messy is bad. I generally prefer messy stories over simple.

I was more surprised at Hikari though. I thought Hikari liked Taisuke, and even if not, she never had any feelings for Makoto at all, even in the end. So I completely wasn't expecting that.

I can't really give a proper opinion on how good it was. Since I had my story majorly spoilerzord. So you probably experienced it a lot more fully than I did. I sat there expecting what was going to happen, while you were probably surprised by what happened = more enjoyment. Not too bad but not great either. I don't know... 7?

Didn't notice any big fault in terms of animation. I think the story is just a bit too sex driven. Makes it unrealistic. kiminozo and ef were better.

What apart from the very Sex-Driven Story did you not like about it?

And by animation faults maybe I wasn't clear ... they were using a pretty fudgeing repetitive pallete of dull colours, for the school as well as the characters.. maybe its just me  *palmface*

It just seems very cheesy. And not that realistic. That's about it.

And I don't dislike the story. It's decent, just not great. If I really found the story to be poo poo, it'll never get close to 7.

I didn't particularly notice that as I was watching it. Now that you mention it, and I go back and have a look, yeah, the pallete does seem a bit dull.

You're a graphic artist, so it's more likely that you'll naturally pick up things like that than me, same logic a musician being more likely to pick up sound problems.

ef - a tale of memories is still the best anime I've seen in terms of animation.  Oh, ef - the latter tale OP!!!

In terms of story (most important), it's great. The graphics and sound are also decent. So overall, it's a pretty good anime.

Both of them were at fault. Sekai for pairing him up with Kotonoha, while she likes him herself, so inciting the conflict. Makoto for being a horny bastard who couldn't control himself.

It's a pretty disgusting anime (in terms of storyline), but not too bad a watch (in terms of enjoyment).

hmmm... Slushba132 was complaining about Green Green. Zinga said that was disgusting too. Ima go watch Green Green, and see which is worse, that or this.

Though from what I know, the VN is even more brutal.
