I think the voice is what gets me. If he had a deeper voice, it wouldn't be nearly as bad.
Also, imagine if he had like a large black leather jacket, an earring, crew cut, white undershirt, and black glasses (prescription, of course). It'd be so awesome to see some poser trying to look cool talking about that stuff.
