RE: Gah, test on Saturday
Hey, since I was doing Law last term, I missed out on accounting, which I had to catch up this semester.

Guess what, Accounting exam today.

Didn't do that well in the test - it was multiple choice, so guessed most of it :P

Ah well, over now.

Mine was multiple choice as well.

But I owned the test. And finished 30 minutes before time up, and just walked out. Only guessed like 2 questions out of 60.

Then again, I did do a lot more practice than you did, and it did help, cause before all the practice, I attempted a trial test, and only got like 1/2 the questions.

Finance tomorrow.

Stats next sememster   «--- that test is going to be a bitch and pwn everyone.

RE: Gah, test on Saturday
Meh, I got a Distinction for the course overall.  There were three pieces of assessment:
  • The mid-semester exam (got about 67% for it)
  • A project done in pairs - ours was a mess - the person I was working with kept getting sick, had to do operations and stuff.  Wee managed to get a week extension (the course coordinator wanted to give more, but said it wasn't possible since it was the end of semester), but it was pretty much a rush for us, me ending up doing most of the work.  The assignment was pretty much wrong as well - wee had to predict the share price of a company, after evaluation.  The company had a price of like $11/share, and according to sources, the share price would go up.  According to our evaluation however, the predicted price for the next year was ~$4/share (lol).
Still, wee somehow got 41/50 for it, the highest grade for the assignment being 44/50.
  • The final exam - have no idea how well I went in it - I did study more for it though (but Accounting courses don't particularly give any resources here, which sucks)
Coincidently, I have two midsemester exams this Saturday.

I'm expecting at least an 80%, maybe around 90%. Raw score, which might be vey different after scaling, but I'm expecting scaling to pull down rather than up.  «--- lol. Cocky bastard much?

Lol? Maybe he gave you extra credit because he knew you did it mostly yourself? But this kind of mark compensation only happens in highschool.

Got one tomorrow. Finance. Should be pretty easy.

Regression modelling next term. While not as hard as the other stats, it's still going to be a bitch.

I missed the econ exam. Cause I'm a Super-Mega-Ultra-Retard and forgot about it. That kinda sucks, but it is redeemable into the final (meaning if I do better in final, i can not count this score, and use the final completely. Guess what I'm going to do...), so I'm not completely screwed.
