RE: Japanese Vs English dubs
Really depends, usually subs though. Dubs are weird. They either sound really good or really bad. Its never in between, which I think is awkward =|

RE: Japanese Vs English dubs
All depends on the anime/game/whatever is in jap and possibly dubbed. I know alot of english voice over actors, and often look out for them when I go to start a new anime.
I play most of my games in english and all ive played I felt the cast did a fantastic job (Crisis Core, MGS Peace Walker, Persona etc).
What I mean by it depends on the anime is that if the anime story for example, was based in England. You expect English people in England to be speaking english :p As is the case with Hellsing. I can watch it in jap fine but it really suits being in english. Mainly because the British sound kickass and the Germans need to have that creepy German accent when they speak english.
So yea /my opinion. That's how I usually watch my stuff. I try to find english first when I can, but I can watch either.

RE: Japanese Vs English dubs
Just an update, I started playing persona 4 expecting the same quality of voice acting and man...and everyone just seems so out of it (forced expressions, SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooow talking), there are some great voices but man those are just eclipsed by the other badly done voices :/
Oh well, I didn't see THAT one coming.
I'm looking at Chie's voice actor in particular, double you tee eff? It sounds like she's 30~20 years old and tired as hell.

From P3 what I remember Mitsuru had a...lispy kinda voice~ I also hated the kid's voice whatever his name is. Other than that it's good.
The P4 dub isn't bad at all. I actually think it's quite good compared to most RPG's.
Also if you have a hacked ps2 or a computer that can use PCSX2 well you can always play the UNDUBBED versions which are available from you know where ;D
