I don't get what you mean by "nodes" (probably dealing with the programs code)? Zinga should be able to help with this?

You could have a "insert as child" or "insert after" option maybe?

There aren't as many people making themes these days compared to, say, a few years ago, so if you're making these apps for replies to your thread, it's probably a bit harder nowadays.
But on the other hand, do you really want a whole bunch of people asking for help or requesting new features in your thread?
