Where abouts are you Zinga Burga? Over where I am at I also can't get TPG, the exchange is too far. But its alright I'm currently getting 25gb for $100 plus phone line, cable that is.

Unhappy face? That's like way better than this...
It is. I feel bad that I can't share my connection with you who have crappier service for more money.

Won't be worse than mine.

$40 a month for that. Contract ends in a few month.
And all Australian plans binds you into a contract, that typically lasts 1 to 2 years, so if you want to change providers within that time, you're looking at a $100-300 break contract penalty.
Oh yeah, how are then NBN prices?

My exchange isn't far, and is pretty good, but the area I live in is riddled with RIMs (f*ck you Telstra).

Can't wait till the NBN (National Broadband Network) gets around and finishes. Fiber Optic Internet For the win. Wee'll be up there with the other countries who have fiber optic.

RE: [AU] ADSL2+ 500GB plan for $60/mo, includes line rental
So if the NBN goes through, it's up to 1Gbps anyway...
Seems like some ISPs are now rolling out 1TB/mo ADSL2+ plans.
If you do the math on a standard 12Mbps constant speed, that's about equivalent to saturating your connection for about 6 hours a day to exhaust the quota.
IMO even heavy downloaders won't exhaust 1TB/mo, probably only the craziest will ever need to use up that much.
Though for all practical purposes, probably 500GB since most of the rest is off peak. Still, unlikely to exhaust 500GB/mo for most people.
iiNet: 500+500GB/mo $100/mo
iPrimus: 511+600GB/mo 24mo contract $100/mo
TPG: 500+500GB/mo 6/18mo contract $70/mo
With 1TB HDDs around $80 each, if you saved everything you downloaded, on the TPG plan, you would essentially be paying more for a HDD than the bandwidth...
Damn some people are lucky.
