Echochrome is one of the best games I've played in a long time :)
I recommend The Wire to watch as it is a great cop drama and each episode is an hour long. Also if you like comedy then watch Weeds and convert it!! It is really funny.
Same emus as Roberth.
I usually read manga on mine but if you're not into it then....

Films:
Eagle Eye - Pretty good recent film
Seven Pounds - Just a great movie
City of God - OMG Awesome :D
The Gingerdead man - lol best b-movie evar!
Shaun of the Dead - So funny and great soundtrack!!
Rear Window - Old film but so great.
Disturbia - Modern teen version of Rear Window, but is still really good :D
Leon - Great action
Way out West - Hilarious Laurel and Hardy
Knocked Up - LOL
District 13 - Epicly poo poo story but the action is great and awesome free running :P
The Wackness - Funny, sad, and brilliant.

Music:
Muse - Rock (influenced by Radiohead)
The Rifles - Indie/britpop
Foals - Progressive (really cool)
The Strokes - Rock ( I never get tired of them)
Arcade Fire - Experimental
Aswad - Dub (Chillout)
Bloc Party - Indie experimental
Interpol - Post punk (Influenced by Joy Division)
Method Man - Rap (WuTangClan)

My Ideal Music Collection:
A concert/orchestra (Like LOTR or Star Wars)
A couple Hard Rock (Metallica especially Death Magnetic)
A couple Game/Anime OSTs (Some of my favourites: Elfen Lied, FFVII CC + AC), Naruto Shippuden, Jigoku Shozo: Fukatomori.. meh many more_
A few movie OSTs (they provide a ready made variety of music. Some good ones: XXX {has rap + rock}, Underworld: Evolution, Fast and Furious, Transformers)
Some Trance... period.
Some Hip Hop/ Rap, if you like that. (I don't listen to any one except to Eminem, that too a few)
Some Nu Metal (Linkin Park, SOAD, Radiohead etc)
Some Japanese (Esp. Aqua Timez. Azumi will guide you better)
Some mix genre of Rock (various artists. the best way is to download the latest Billboard 100, Modern Rock etc)
and a few Reggae, Blues etc.

I hope you grabbed the homebrew pack that ibawanzingee uploaded! 300mb with TONS of old 1.0/1.50 games that havent been downloadable in along time and work awesome with the leda plugin!!!

some of those homebrews are better than the PSP's commercial offerings.
