Its a prelude to a larger price drop, I suspect.  The 8gb are going to take the price point of the 4gb soon, wouldn't be surprised if the 8gb go on sale for $35 on black Friday this year.  Gonna wait until then to pick up any memsticks.

And I'm gonna get one of these, just because my current 4GB is a (rather good quality, all things considered) fake, so the speeds are pretty low, plus i accidentally damaged it a bit, and it's starting to crack apart.
