When I was about 10, away on holiday in Spain with my parents, there was a fancy dress party -

It was decided I would go as a punk, dressed in black, with mascara, eye liner, white face paint, a black Mohawk, and a chain joining my ear with nostril.

... Great.

I got to this fancy dress party, and being 10, found it a bit awkward having absolutely no fudgeing idea what the fudge anyone was saying (in fudgeing Spanish), so I left.

My parents had left to go drink, the apartment was empty and locked, so I tried to break in...

I climbed up like 3 stories (the rear of the building had like a "ramp" up the side of it), in a lame attempt to climb in -

The neighbors heard the whimpering of a small child crying and opened up their windows, only to find some goth-emo-kid complete with Mohawk,  ear-to-nose chain and mascara streaming down his face screaming into their 4-star Hotel room...

I think the end result was a public service announcement over the PA system, asking for the parents of the child with "his ear and nose pierced" to collect him from reception ASAP.

Scarred me for fudgeing life.
