RE: death note on adult swim
Assassinator Wrote:Most people prefer subs actually, so you're not weird. But that preferrence is not solely due to quality of subs and dubs. Lots of people like subs cause their faster on release, and are more easily available for free.
I've seen some Naruto dubs... yes i have to agree with u they are quite horrible.
To me, most of them seem alright. occasionally, there's a really bad one, like naruto.
well i mostly like subs cause its more of the pure form so to speak.. seems like most of the seiyuu (voice actors) put alot more effort into making it then the english counter parts.... theres always exceptions.. like i think YYH is better in english... but your native language is better if you want to watch and pay attention to the screen rather then reading but ive been watching anime so long that im used to it and can do both lol.. not only that but i watch regular japanese tv...
Assassinator Wrote:I mean paid cable TV services like FoxTel and stuff where u have to pay like $20 a month. Not worth it. They just repeat poo poo over and over again, and have like 3 minutes of ads every 10 minutes of show.
Also, if u really look at it the money side, it's far cheaper probably (if u live in a place with good internet connection) to even just download all the stuff u want to watch.
(Meh, maybe I'm just weird.)
looking at from that stand point cable is a waste.. nowadays you can download any episode of any show on so yeah lol but in my case i have cable internet so i get cable tv along with it.... they do have 3 minutes of commercials every ten minutes.. i timed it and that's about average.. cept MTV.. they more ads then anyone... adult swim is cool cause they show one block of commercials during each show... sure they are like 5 minutes a piece but theres only one set
