RE: PSP Firmware V3.70 Released.
Pirata Nervo Wrote:pandora is BIG hole in their fw, it can be blocked with a new battery.
Uhh, no, it's not a hole in the firmware. Maybe the PSP's design, though I find it hard to believe they could've stuffed that up...
Pirata Nervo Wrote:They must make a new battery and make a program that blocks the user, even in kernel mode from write to battery. If i upgrade to 3.70 in normal psp can i downgrade??? also what's that scene search thing?
No, they can't issue out new batteries and whatnot. New batteries may make current gen batteries rarer, but still won't stop Pandora.
Pirata Nervo Wrote:if sony codes a program that will be in the battery, and that program refuses ANY connections by the way Battery and PSP, then you won't be able to do that.
Thing is, wee're not using that battery, so moot point.
Even if Sony made a new firmware which requires a new special type of battery, it'll never be able to stop the PSP searching the battery for an IPL.
