Now I'm sorry for the film rant I went on there, but it's a similar thing. I do also realise I may get hated on for this! But surely, does anyone share this opinion? Surely someone else can agree it's getting ridiculous?

I feel the same way, but it's somewhat the thing with everything of this sort.  Seems to be primarily TV shows, but games and movies suffer somewhat from this too.  The idea being to squeeze as much money out of it as possible.
