That's what overrated means, it's valued by some to people to be a lot more than it's worth.  Remember, most people give it away for free in highschool.

Besides, that guy who bought her probably has loads of money so it's nothing for him.  Again, with enough money you can get anything.

Prostitute: 1 hour for probably like USD$20 or something (remember income in Brazil is only a fraction of that of the US or Europe).
Makes all the difference in the world.

If you stick $780000 in a bank, and you get 5% interest (yes you can gt 5% in Brazil), you'll get almost $40000 every year just from interest, which is more than enough to live a very comfortable life in Brazil with.  So that means you can do whatever you enjoy everyday, instead of working your ass off flipping burgers or scanning barcodes.

Alternatively, $780000 is more than enough to start or buy out a small business.  Owning a business at like 20 years of age is pretty impressive.
