1 - 2 sentences, I seriously don't have time for anything else
2 - 4 ": Eh, I don't mind
4 - 6 ": Whatever
6 - 8 ": This is interesting
8 - * ": I think whatever this guy/girl posts is worth reading

I read all posts, and will usually read through entire threads if they are 10 pages or less lol.

I too, usually write in a long-winded way, but it's because I like detail and to get everything across to the reader. Additionally, I still miss stuff out sometimes and have to immediately edit my posts!!

My view: people are either interested in what you have to say or they're not, regardless of post length. Bollocks to those who won't give an extra 30 seconds reading time to hear what you have to say. :D
