leave it for a day or more , take out all the pieces you can , like :
Battery
HDD
Ram....everything you can.
and leave it apart 24 to 48 hours and in hot and dry room if possible.
I could suggest put it in a bag with dry bread and rice beans , but leave it in a hot room , i think it will be enough.
After that look at the connectors of the battery for example , and all the rest to see if you see some oxide , hheheh im overreacting but look at it.
