I've had that router for about three or four years now, it works fine for me. I've got to side with zinga on this one, that page sounds more like malware than an issue with the router, especially because it doesn't affect the other computers in your household.

You could try fiddling with the settings in the router's configuration page for your computers, and you can also reset a bunch of different settings there too. For a 2wire router youll reach your configuration page at http://192.168.1.254 I'd say clearing the IP settings for the router and re-pairing all the wireless devices may help, and its not very difficult. Unless you have a bunch of ports open on there for each device, all you have to do is put the password in again.

Also, try refreshing your broadband IP. That's also a router configuration, but it seems to fit with that error message.
