It's possible to run gamecube homebrew on the Wii using this. However running your own ISO's will only work on the gamecube (they removed the debug command from the disk drive in the Wii).

If you want to run backups on your Wii you'll need a modchip :(

Oh, and the Wii blocks all Action Replay disks with it's new firmware -.- Believe me, I tried (I have version 1.12 and a SD Gecko).
