Word has it that memory management has been tweaked.

Well it's no better. Honestly, I can't remember FF3 being this bad. Since FF4 things have gone downhill as far as memory consumption is concerned.

(14 Tabs - 640MB RAM)

No, memory management will be tweaked in the next version, not this one.  Hardly anything changed in this one.
